Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon

Underwater World Singapore is an oceanarium located on Sentosa, an island off the coast of Singapore. It was open since in 1991 and has more than 2,500 marine animals of 250 species from different parts of the world. The oceanarium is underground and the Underwater World's ticket includes admission to the Dolphin Lagoon at Palawan Beach.

Underwater World has a 83 metre long travelator that transports visitors along a submerged 6 millimetre thick acrylic-windowed tunnel where they can view an array of marine life including coral reefs, stingrays, moray eels, turtles, sharks and other underwater creatures.

At the entrance of the Underwater World is the Touch Pool, where visitors can touch mild banded bamboo sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, puffer fish and sea stars.

Proceeding further inside Underwater World, we are able to experience the beauty of the Reef Flat, where corals and reef fishes are displayed in a large aquarium.

Other exhibits include Jelly World where an array of Jellyfishes can be found.

An aquarium containing Sea Anemone & Clown Fish can be viewed inside the Underwater World as well.

The highlight of the Underwater World is a spectacular 83 metre long tunnel that is home to prowling predators and a host of other sea creatures.

The Dolphin Lagoon is home to a number of Indo-Pacific Humpback Dolphins, also known as "pink dolphins". Several "Meet-the-Dolphins" sessions are held daily to allow visitors to enter the waist-deep pool and interact closely with the dolphins.

animal rights activist though, will complain abt animals being kept in
captivity, especially the dolphins...

but they are definitely safer here than in japan.

I am using Panasonic FT1. I support Panasonic because their cameras have the
best colour saturation. :)
